Welcome Home

Panther Trace is a 785-acre master-planned community, with distinctively designed villages. Great care has been taken to preserve the community's scenic wetlands and nature areas.

The gently-curved main boulevard has been lined with a variety of trees and landscaping, giving the entire community a park-like setting.

Vacant Seat for Board of Supervisors

At this time there is a vacancy on the Panther Trace CDD-Phase I
Board of Supervisors.  The vacant seat is Seat #2 and it will expire 11/2020.

The CDD (Community Development District) is a special unit of government and members of the Board of
Supervisors are governed by many of the same laws and regulations as a
city commissioner.

This includes Florida Sunshine Law, Florida Public Records Law, and State
Ethics Regulations.

The CDD Board is responsible for management of the infrastructure
elements within the community. Examples include the clubhouse, the
drainage system, and landscaping in the common areas.

Supervisors are usually selected during a general election that will be
held in November of even-numbered years. The next election will be
November 2018.  The current vacant seat is a 2 year seat.

The Board of Supervisors usually meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month
at 7 PM in the Panther Trace Phase I Clubhouse.

The successful applicant will be required to file an annual financial
disclosure statement with the state.  To qualify you must reside in Phase I of Panther Trace.
